Woodstock, VT to Ogunquit, Maine

Today was our longest travel day - starting in Vermont at 8:30 am, stopping in Woodstock, Vermont for lunch and siteseeing, then into Maine - stopping in Ogunquit at our "home" for 2 nights.

Every morning we'd get on the bus and have to find our "card" that marked our seat for the day. Barb & Jean were the "V - Valentines".

We stopped to take photos from the bridge over Quechee Gorge - 165 feet above the Ottauquechee River.

Then drove into the quaint town of Woodstock. Barb & Jean picked up some lunch and toured a museum.

Then we crossed the Piscataqua River into Maine.

We arrived at our hotel, Anchorage by the Sea, about 3:00 pm and 92 degrees. It was beautiful, but we couldn't believe how hot it was for September 26th!

We walked the Marginal Way (little over 1 mile) to Perkins Cove and ate dinner at Barncle Billy's. It was great - eating crab cakes & clam chowder while watching the sun set on the cove.

We caught the trolly back to our hotel and enjoyed the full moon over the Atlantic!
