Memorial Day weekend we flew to Texas from Montrose. We love the gorgeous views on the flight between Montrose and Denver. Here is a sky view of one of the West Elk mountains and the Morrow Point Reservoir in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

We spent Memorial Day in The Woodlands with Steve's daughter, Kendra. Tuesday we drove our rental car down to McAllen and stayed with our friend Gin Offerman. On our way back to The Woodlands we stopped off at Corpus Christi and spent a flew days on the Gulf. Before flying back home to Montrose, we enjoyed an evening with Steve's cousin, Ann McWatters, and her family in Katy.
It was a wonderful 10 days with lots of fun and good memories!

When we got home we had lots of work to do. The grass was knee-high and the swallows had covered every side of our house and garage with their mud nests!

Looks like Barb made progress cutting our "hay", while Mr. Holman hayed neighbor Betty's field next door.
