The Sausage Party!!
The 2001 Elk Hunt was successful! Steve and his friend, Don Dodds, each got a cow in an area a few miles south of Sublette Ranch. In fact, Steve's friend Doug Barger also got a cow in that area in an earlier season.

What meat was left after butchering steaks and roasts was ground for 120 pounds hamburger and sausage!

Come by the ranch and you can sample our home-made elk sausage:
Sweet Italian, Hot Italian or Breakfast Sausage.

This was the Sweet Italian sausage Sean is mixing. We had so much meat to work with, coolers made for the largest "mixing bowls"!
Laurie and Sean were our link sausage masters!

Sharon and Don seem to be enjoying the wrap-tape-and-label process...
