Atlantic Ocean & Kennebunkport, Maine

This morning the group was headed to Knight's Quilt Shop, but we decided to walk to the beach instead.

Afternoon, the group headed to Kennebunkport, ME. We drove past the Bush Compound
(family estate of Barbara Bush).

Sadly, my camera didn't survive the trip to the beach! So, in Kennebunkport I bought a disposal camera.
On our driving tour past the Bush Compound, Judy Glick, was so kind to let me use her camera then mailed me these photos. Thanks, Judy!

The bus dropped us off at the post office to ship more items home. Then we headed to the camera shop to see if my camera could be repaired. Nope - sand in the lens. So, I bought a new digital camera in Maine!
We decided to walk back to the hotel via the other end of the Marginal Way. The flowers were gorgeous and the new camera worked great!

For our farewell dinner, the group drove to York, ME. We stopped at Nubble Light House - the longest operating lighthouse in America - 128 years.
Vicki took a photo of the entire group at the lighthouse.

Then we went to Foster's Downeast Clambake for a New England lobster boil dinner, along with some singing and dancing! "Chowdah, chowdah, get your hot chowdah herah..."
