Louise's Visit
Labor Day 2002

We had a fun Labor Day weekend with Barb's sister, Louise Farner! This was her 2nd annual Labor Day trip.
Saturday we spent the day at the Ouray County Fair watching the 4H showing. We cheered on our neighbor, Leslie Laird, as she and Steve (the steer) won grand champions!

Sunday morning Steve took us to his favorite U-Pick peach orchard north of town. The Elbertas were ripe and delicious!

Sunday afternoon we took Louise jeepin' to Box Factory Park.

Sunday night was a late one! Steve escorted us "cowgirls" to the dance at the Ridgway Firehouse.
Then Monday morning we headed back to Ridgway to watch the parade, go to the BBQ lunch, then attend the Rodeo!
