Jean, Walt & Louise Visit
Applefest - October 2002

In early October, 2002 we were thrilled to have Barb's dad finally join us for his first visit! (Jean had come over before.)
|
|
|
Jean & Walt came over with Barb's sister, Louise, and her dog, Duffer.
We took them up to Cedaredge for the Applefest.
We then spent most of the rest of the weekend canning apples & applesauce.
|
|
|
Mom & Dad enjoyed the antique tractor show.
|
|
|
|
|
The gang enjoyed dinner at Cowboy's Grill.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We took a break from canning to take Mom & Dad to see the Loghill Overlook.
|
|
|
|
Here's Dad feeding one of the "5 Black Ladies" some apple scraps.

|
While they were here, they got to see a real cattle roundup! It was end-of-the-season for renting our pasture out. The rancher and his cow dog came to pick up the "5 Black Ladies". Everyone watched the show!
